Charge!
I know that most people have very glamorous credit cards that let them earn air miles and hotel rooms and all that stuff, but me? Since I don't do much any traveling these days, I have an L.L. Bean VISA. It has no annual fee, and I earn L.L. Bean credits for every purchase I make anywhere—plus I get free shipping on everything I order from L.L. Bean. I make a point to charge everything I possibly can, so every year I end up getting tons of free merchandise, from parkas to swimsuits to backpacks. I also have a Citi MasterCard that lets me earn cash back on food purchases, so I use that for food until the $300 annual cap is reached (usually sometime in the fall); everything else goes on the VISA.
A few weeks ago I got a letter saying that my current L.L. Bean VISA is being discontinued, but they're coming out with a new one next month that will also include free return shipping! Sign me up. But oh, how I wish there was a Lands' End card!

I actually hadn't heard about the new card -- we were similarly embittered when we got the same discontinuation note from VISA a few weeks ago.

I have to ask... how can a woman whose blood boils at the sight of a misplaced apostrophe bring herself to patronize Lands' End?

Ha! I just love their stuff, and I appreciate that they address the apostrophe issue. I've learned to overlook it because their prices and quality are so good.
