When I remarked on how long it was taking for my neighbor's in-ground pool to be built, my son said "Mom, digging a hole is easy. Making something out of it is hard." Now, he's a lot older than Julie, but I still thought it was very thought-provoking!

Oh, Polly's is more than just a great name! It's a wonderful place -- truly an institution: http://www.pollyspancakeparlor.com/. It's the real deal -- what all the "retro" places are trying to mimic.
