We were all over the place on names. As of yesterday, it was going to be Ramona and Iris. Other contenders were Ruby, Lizzy, Penny, Roxy, Eve, Pearl, Tess, and on and on and on.
Today we went up to see Steph for camp visiting day! She is doing great. During our visit we presented our not-so-short list of cat names and let her weigh in. And this is how it ended up. I think Vi and Lu are the likely nicknames, once we remember to stop calling them The Dark One and The Light One.
Great names! Violet is one of my all-time favorites.

My grandmother's name was Violet! (And everybody called her Vi!) Great names!
