We are back from a wonderful vacation in Ogunquit! It was much the same as last year, but we stayed an extra day this time.
We again stayed at the Juniper Hill Inn, relaxed on the beach, ate plenty of lobster (I had my first-ever lobster BLT, at the Lobster Shack in Perkin's Cove—splendid!), poked in and out of the little shops on Main Street and Shore Road, played mini golf (and won 1500 tickets at the arcade there, which we gave to some delighted little kids), did quite a bit of damage at the outlets (and Bob's Clam Hut) in Kittery, and sampled everything at Bread & Roses bakery and Harbor Candy Shop. For our date night, this year we tried Roberto's, which was mostly a disappointment. It felt like something out of the North End in the '80s—and not in the good way. Ah well—by definition, dinner out while on vacation is still a treat!
Steph likes to take family photos at restaurants, so here are a couple:

I left a ton of work on my desk, and lo—it was all still here when I got back, and the deadlines hadn't budged. I had to shift gears from relaxed to productive pretty quickly. So this is just a brief update; now back to the comma mines I go!
