Julie comes into the kitchen and announces to me, in her sweet, high voice, "Daddy's name Andy. He's a man. He loves to hold me. And give me kisses. I go see him!" (makes a bee line for the den)

I remember when my daughter accepted that people sometimes have two names. For a while, she'd look uneasy, as if the idea of Mommy also being named "Pam" was this dreadful social faux pas she needed to overlook out of loyalty.
I thought this was funny since we are teaching my daughter what our names are too(it is actually good from a safety perspective too just in case a child ever gets lost). It is so cute how she says my husband's name (it is a one syllable name so pretty easy for her to master). But she has a lot of trouble saying my name (i guess Melissa can be tough for a 2 year old). But we always have a good laugh when she says it!
