Appetizer: Who are 3 actors/actresses that you think are totally overrated?
Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Keanu Reeves
Soup: Admit something. Anything.
I like institutional food—airplanes, hospitals, schools, etc. (You can tell I haven't flown in years; I can still remember when food was served on all flights.)
Salad: If you could take back one thing you've said in your life, what would it be?
I can't think of anything really terrible that I've said. It would have had to be something so hurtful that it continues to plague me to this day, and I can't come up with anything. Which isn't to say that I haven't regretted things I've said, just that no one utterance stands out from all the rest. I'll keep thinking, though. . . .
Main Course: What symbol would best represent your personality?
A pen in the act of writing, suggesting someone creative, verbal, expressive, neat, thoughtful, and smart.
Dessert: Choose a free gift: a daily back massage, dinner at a restaurant twice per week, or a brand new book twice per month.
That's cinchy: Dinner! Two books a month would cost around $25–$75. I'd just as soon buy 'em used or borrow 'em anyhow. Eight dinners/month, on the other hand, could easily cost $400–$1600. And, regardless of cost, I don't think I'd want a daily back massage (weekly, maybe, but daily seems a bit excessive).
Dessert would be a bit sweeter if it included the kidsitter!
(We can't use "babysitter" anymore. Hmm, are these children the product of an editor and an attorney?!)
