Jay admitted his sins for the week, and now he wants us to play along too. OK! He did six, so I will too.
I have recently sinned, both in action and in my heart. This week alone, I:
Stood idly by as the cashier at Shaw's rang in a $0.55 triple coupon on a bag of potato chips that was on sale for $0.99. So, yeah, Shaw's paid me $0.66 to take their chips. So?
Let Pete have peanut butter sandwiches for both lunch and supper in the same day. Well, one was with jelly and one was with Fluff, so it wasn't like the sandwiches were identical or anything!
As always, pretended to listen while my kids told me their "interesting" stories, all the while smiling and nodding and thinking of any other possible thing.
Told Julie that those brown things up on the counter were mushrooms. Right, like I'm sharing dark chocolate truffles with a not-quite-three-year-old!
For the bazillionth time, plunked Julie in front of "Finding Nemo" with a bowl of Pirate's Booty while I went up to check my e-mail.
Drank a hefty glass of Absolut Citron before heading over to the school for Curriculum Night.
I am LOLing over the last one! You rebel, you!! (I am such a lightweight; I could never do that.)
