« JFK's Best Speech Yet | Main | Five Things I've Never Said »

If nothing else, he spared us from Al Gore. Overall I think he has done a fine job. He has worked on points he ran on, dealt with some very large crisis and restored some honor to the office of president.

Well, let's weigh the old against the new. Lied to his country about getting a blowjob ... pulled his country into war on the flimsiest of excuses.

Lied to his country about getting a blowjob ... put his country into huge debt with China so he could give 'tax relief' to the middle class to bolster his party's popularity.

Yep, we're so much better off nowadays. We got honor coming out our asses.

Dan, I agree with the "nothing else" part. I believe Bush has refused to reconsider his positions even after new information has surfaced -- he's stubborn to a fault. This whole "flip-flop" thing is ridiculous! There's nothing wrong with reevaluating your agenda as time goes by and the landscape changes. Indeed, there's something very wrong about sticking to your guns (pun fully intended) long after it's warranted. And I feel he has depleted the office of president of much of its honor. I have trouble even imagining how things could have gone worse after 9/11.
