More Fun with Lists

Here's another funny list found over at McSweeney's:

Meanwhile, a list I submitted to McSweeney's was accepted more than two months ago and it still hasn't appeared. Phooey. And, on top of that, another McSweeney's list, about movie titles in the form of gerunds, sort of suggests a post I did a long time ago. Double phooey. (No, I'm not insinuating plagiarism, just wishing I'd submitted my list before he did. Or thought of un-gerunding the gerunds.)

I've been waiting for McSweeney's to publish your list. Now I'll know it when I see it. Hah! the copy editor in you is revealed again...

You can thank McS for my finding your blog...you may recall I stumbled across it because you had blogged my "Elvish or Yiddish" list. And that's what probably got me started blogging after having had an inactive Blogger account for two years...

I still don't know just what McS will find amusing. A couple of my earliest blogposts consist of items I submitted to them but which they bounced. But I think they're funny, anyway. Foo.
