Julie cried so hard when I left her at preschool this morning! Once again, she was having fun painting, but she didn't want me to go. I left her wailing, but a few minutes later, as I cried in the conference room, the director came out to tell me that Julie was already smiling and playing happily. My gosh, I hope this isn't going to happen every time; I just can't take it.
So, I ran twenty bazillion errands in the same amount of time it would normally have taken me to buckle Julie's carseat, get her a baggy of Mini Wheats and a bottle of water, find the alligator CD, and then, upon arrival at the first destination, unbuckle her carseat, wipe her face, and convince her to get out of the car. I can tell I'm going to like this!
