Gee, I can't stand it when Mac sugarcoats things like this. I wish she'd just come out and tell us how she feels. (It probably goes without saying—but I'll say it anyhow—that I'm posting this because Mac is right on the money here, as usual!)

Amen. Some of us Christians are more than happy to share the country, month of December and that little document we call the Constitution, with all sorts of people (even right-wing nut jobs). I'm not sure where the fundamentalist faction got their "facts", but it sure doesn't sound very Christian to me. I doubt they'd be so gungho on forsaking our founding principles if the current president were Muslim.
Here's to four more years of forgetting where we came from...
