What does it mean when I get e-mails like this one?

I wondered about this too. I thought at first that spammers were *testing* spam filters. But, it turns out they are trying to *poison* them. See: http://www.freedom-to-tinker.com/?p=631
That is, the email is obviously spam, but is rigged to contain words of valid emails. Thus, using it as a basis to filter out email, at least based on the words it contains, will result in the blocking of many valid emails. Spammers certainly are sick puppies.
