From Boing Boing:
British designer Onkar Singh Kular has developed a series of tea mugs in various brownish Pantone* shades that correspond to a specific ratio of milk-to-tea—you know you've added enough milk once the tea matches the mug! Ingenious!
*In my publishing days, I could actually recognize certain PMS (no, not that PMS; it also stands for Pantone Matching System) colors by their numbers.
I remember the Pantone swatches from my manual cartography days. I used to be able to rattle off numbers, too. Then computers came along and ruined it. (I also remember Rapidograph pens and "mechanical pencils" and having to pick out the right hardness of lead.)
