A couple of weeks ago, Boing Boing had a post about a Flickr gallery of photos showing the contents of people's bags. I meant to do mine then but never got around to it. Then last week Jo did hers, so I was re-inspired!
So, here's what's in my Flee bag, from the top:
- photos of the kids
- pretty flowered tissues
- little zippered thingy to hold membership cards (e.g., Blockbuster, library card) and rarely used credit cards
- wallet (contains money and the credit cards and other cards I use most often)
- larger zippered thingy to hold coupons and receipts and such
- sunglasses
- cell phone
- Palm Zire in protective case
- pen
- pink mints to use as
bribesincentives for Julie - green Tic-Tacs
- iPod in blue protective iSkin (with iTrip attached)
- little black pouch containing iPod earphones (which I rarely use because I listen to my iPod almost exclusively in the car via the iTrip)
- pile of stuff from the interior zippered compartment: lipstick, mirror, tampon, bandaids, Oral-B Brush-Ups, emery board, contact lens case, moist towelette, and panty liner
- keys
What do you carry around all day?
UPDATE: Hey, where's my Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in "nutmeg"? Oh, phew, it was in my coat pocket.
Uh, I (a man) carry a backpak, containig:
a laptop and laptop paraphernalia(more often than not)
a jetflash memory stick(sometimes in a pocket)
several preskr.glases,
sunglases
several folders of work related papers (much too often!)
an HP 200 LX palmtop (I only use calculator)
a cellphone
pen
tissues
in one compartment, years collection of receipst and invoices

About 5 pounds of change on the bottom of my purse--and it comes in handy sometimes!

Like you, my iPod is my constant companion...and cell phone and camera. I'm way too connected, I think.

That's all?! That's all that's in your bag? I wish that was all that was in mine.
Very, very nice blog. This is my first time here.

After the grommets tore out of my Flee bag I tried to exchange it but the owner told me she does not gaurantee her bags. So as pretty as it was I had to throw my Flee bag out. Flee bags just arent made for all a working mother has to carry.
