The suppository portion of our program went more smoothly tonight, in the absence of the "fear of the unknown" factor. The poor kid, the things she has to get used to and incorporate into her little life.
I wish we had some sort of control group for this. She's had one cold after another, and the bleeding most definitely flares up when she's run down with some bug or other. But I'm also not sure I've trimmed her nails in quite a few weeks, which would suggest the possibility that she has stopped growing again—and that is obviously a terrifying thought. So, in this case, better to give her more meds than she might need rather than the opposite.
If you ever see a more cheerful, cooperative, stoic kid, let me know. Breaks my heart.
Poor little thing... she sure sounds like a brave girl!
