Yesterday I had a few minutes to kill before picking up Julie, so I stopped into Harlequin, a funky little store in the Highlands. There I bought all kinds of necessary items, like floral-patterned emery boards, skull-and-crossbones band-aids, and the like. They also had the greatest assortment of "action figures" from a company called Accoutrements (I think they're a subsidiary of Archie McPhee, or vice-versa). Shakespeare, Einstein, Mozart, "crazy cat lady," you name it. I think my favorite was the librarian, with a push-button in her back to activate her "amazing shushing action"!
I have one of these - a present from my Mom when I graduated from library grad school - she even comes with trading cards! She is actually modeled after a real librarian - I think they need to get a new model!
