Techno-Lag

I'm way behind on my gadgetry. Andy bought me a digital camcorder for my birthday, and I still haven't opened it or glanced at the manual. Then last week I got a new cell phone, and all I've done so far is choose a ring tone (piano sonata). In the midst of all this, Scott helped me pick out a removable hard drive (I was worried I could lose all my photos if my system crashed, which Macs never do, but still); after a missing package and a long drawn-out UPS search, I finally received it a couple of weeks ago, and—everyone all together now!—haven't so much as opened the box. I'm really quite good with electronics, I just haven't had the time to sit down and figure out these new toys. Oh, and my book group meets next week and I haven't opened Housekeeping yet, so this weekend is not likely to be the one either.
