If you can believe it, I had the straightest, limpest hair imaginable until I was a teenager! Then it got thick and curly. I lost the curls when I was pregnant with Pete, but they came back a year or two ago. Strange.
Thanks -- I never even wear them except for a few minutes in the morning or if I have to get up in the night, but it's nice to know I have something presentable to wear in case something happens to my contacts. Someday I should post a photo of my horrible old glasses and give everyone a laugh!
I like the glasses and the hair. I always wanted curly hair!

It's the "grass is always greener" syndrome -- curly-haired women get their hair straightened and straight-haired women get perms. Go figure.
