This is the sort of thing that I think is a riot: A little-known but clever way to get a great deal on eBay is to search for unintentionally misspelled items, like a "Plam Pilot." Most people aren't going to find those auction listings, so you have a better chance of getting your item for a low price. And now there's a clearinghouse site for misspelled eBay auctions! And, even better, they misspell (well, they leave out a necessary apostrophe) on their own site: "other peoples misspelled eBay auctions." Twice. (Via Boing-Boing)
I once got a great deal on a out of print book because of my poor spelling. How else would I of found it.
