I've been amused by the flap over at Salon about coffee shops that request well-behaved children—or none at all. I can't really imagine that anyone would mind a well-behaved child in a coffee shop, nor can I imagine anyone not minding a tantrum-y child in a coffee shop. If your kid is acting up, get your latte to go; if s/he's in an angelic mood, by all means stay and get each of you a little pastry to celebrate. Is that so hard to figure out?
I absolutely L-O-V-E that sign.

Me, too. And what's wrong with asking a parent to take an unruly kid out of an establishment? At the risk of sounding like I came from "the good ol' days", when I was a kid and kids acted up in stores, parents *did* take the kids outside and rearranged the kid's priorities, fast.

I found this because I was looking for a picture to put on the sign I am making for my work, I absolutaly love this. We have a coffee shop, gift shop & bakery all in the same building & people are constantly letting their kids run wild. I would love to put that up, my boss laughed at it but said they didn't think it was a good idea
