Sprachgefuhl!

I found a great word to describe me, but I'd feel like too much of an idiot ever saying it. There aren't too many German words you can just drop into your speech without sounding like a pretentious asshole. I particularly like schadenfreude, weltanschauung, and weltschmerz, because they have connotations not easily conveyed in English. (Look 'em up here if you don't know what they mean or how to pronounce them.)

I often manage to be a pretentious asshole without the benefit of any German words at all! I do like schadenfreude, though. Handy word.

Another great German word: Gemeutlich. (I hope I spelt it correctly without the umlaut!)
