Case in point: Reese Witherspoon and Faith Hill were both just on Oprah gushing about their "mommyness" and getting thunderous applause for saying they put their children to bed at night and make casserole for dinner. It's like Martha Stewart getting a standing ovation for folding a sheet on her show. Also, how annoying in the Felicity Huffman interview the way the interviewer used the term "mommy." It sounded so patronizing. Thanks for the post.
