I don't care too much for Joaquin Phoenix, but I did enjoy his portrayal of Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line." I was very impressed that he did all his own vocals. Even better was Reese Witherspoon as June Carter Cash. She did a great job. I wonder whether I would've enjoyed this movie as much if I didn't appreciate their music. For me, that was a big part of the pleasure.

We didn't even bother staying up to watch the last half hour of "Made," I'm sorry to say. Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau can be really funny together, but this just didn't work at all. Don't bother.
