Rock on, dudes, here's mine:
"Motörhead" is the band's eponymous song. This live reprise was released as a 7" vinyl single in 1981 and fared much better than the original version, reaching #6 in the UK Singles Charts.
The single uses recordings made on Motörhead's 1981 four day tour, from March 27 to March 30, "The Short, Sharp, Pain In The Neck Tour". The title song appears on the album No Sleep 'til Hammersmith.
On July 9, 1981 the band appeared on the BBC TV Top of the Pops show, supporting the release of this single.
This track has also been featured on unofficial releases, such as the 1993 Castle Communications double album compilation, All the Aces, and Deadline Music's 1999 Golden Years - The Alternate Versions, which was released under licence from Receiver Records.
