1. I'm tired of my music. From what you know about my taste, can you suggest something new I might like?
2. My Bloglines subscription features dozens of blogs that I read faithfully, but I'm looking for suggestions of other blogs you think I'll like.
3. Heard any good jokes lately?

Hi Karen, I enjoy reading your blog several times a week. It sounds like our children are very similar! Stephanie and Meredith and Pete and Will -- besides their opposite hair colors -- their body types and personalities sound oh so similar! :)

I highly recommend Mason Jennings, great stuff. His site is streaming some samples. http://www.masonjennings.com/
I'm really impressed with Alejandro Escovedo's latest release, too.

Do you have Ben Folds? I recommend 'Rocking The Suburbs'.

Not even gonna try on the music thing. :) Last album I bought was Venus Hum's The Colors In The Wheel

It's fabulous, but clashes with Karen's style.

For music, I'd recommend Kasey Chambers (Barricades & Brickwalls is a good start), Amos Lee (self-titled), John Butler Trio (Sunrise Over Sea).
For blogs, Ze Frank - The Show at www.zefrank.com/theshow (a daily vlog) that results in me regularly wetting myself. I confess that I now own 3 Ze Frank produced t-shirts and one coffee mug. It's become an addiction. He is my online Jon Stewart.

I know Amos Lee, but not the others. Thanks!
I've been watching Ze since before he started The Show! If you go to his regular site, there's a ton of great stuff.

Have you tried www.Pandora.com
? They can "anticipate/predict" your music tastes...give it a try. Love your musings.

Yes, I discovered Pandora way back when, but I'm still getting lots of the same old stuff. I recently plugged in some more "leads" for them, though -- we'll see what happens!
