This reminds me of Susan's haiku about other people's rules. As I write, I'm remembering that scene from The School of Rock where Jack Black is trying to get the students to be tell him off, be angry, stick it to the man, etc.

In most parts of my life, I'm pretty much a rule-following nerd -- I guess I just draw the line at being told how to express myself!
