A while back I posted a list of ten famous people whose death really touched me. If I were doing that list today, I surely would have added Ann Richards.
I LOVED her. She made me want to be a Texan - and that's saying something.

Native Texan here...Ann was awesome and she made many of us who didn't believe in following the political mainstream proud.

I LOVED her, too, and remember watching the "silver spoon" speech and howling!!
