This is very cool: Plug in your ZIP code and get statistics about your community! In addition to all the stuff about race, income, education, etc. I learned that the median age in my ZIP code is 44 years old—my age! I'm the median! I'm the median!

Cool link. Somehow, I'm the median age in my town, too. Although I'm happy to see I'm paying below the median mortgage (phew!).

My community is younger. (38) I was shocked that only 13% have a B.A. or higher. It seems like there are lots of professional people around here--but maybe they are in a different zip code. Weird.

This is the sort of stuff I love. In our town Ted is the median (41). I am, shall I say, above the median.
