Lauren insisted I blog this:
Last night, when the aforementioned mudroom door locked itself, Andy and I kept having to go out the front door and walk around the house to the back door to get something or other from the mudroom, then back around the house to the front door to get back in. We use the back door almost exclusively; our front door got more use last night and this morning than it normally gets in a month. At one point I asked Andy to go get the basket of clean laundry from the mudroom. He did.
This morning, as we cut through our side yard to walk to school, the kids and I noticed some bright colors on one of the bushes. Upon close inspection, it was revealed that several pairs of my underwear had managed to get snagged on the shrubbery while Andy was carrying the laundry in from the back in the pitch dark. Just my underwear. Nothing else. I thought the kids might die laughing.
Hysterical. I'm laughing with the kids. The only thing that would make it more perfect would be the pictures. :-)

I didn't realize underwear bushes flowered this late in the season. Are they annuals?

I might die laughing, too. Hey, at least they were pretty!
