Love Is Blue

I'm positively giddy today! Where to begin...?

1. My guy, Deval Patrick, handily beat that horrible Kerry Healey for governor of Mass. We now have our first black governor, and I like him. A LOT!
2. Patrick is only part of the nationwide sweep of governorships—more are blue than red now!
3. We got the House back! We got the House back! We got the House back! And we have a woman for Speaker!
4. I'm still holding out hope that we'll get the Senate too, but from what I can gather, it could be weeks before we know. I'm doubly hoping for Webb to win—the other reason is that Allen is so very despicable.
5. B'bye, Santorum! B'bye!
