Lie #1: "We've taken dozens of holiday photos and we just can't seem to get one where we all look half-decent."
Lie #2: "What do you mean you didn't get our card? I sent them all out weeks ago!"
Lie #3: "The post office was all out of stamps—again!"
Truth: I haven't done a darn thing about holiday cards yet this year. So plan on getting a Happy New Year card in January. Or February.
I'm going with #2, myself. A lie - but I'm going with it anyway. I've thought about mailing some today - but just can't get around to it. Oh well.

Ummm...yeah, I bought great cards this year. I guess I'll store them away with the cards I bought last year and didn't send and those from the year before.
I could open a holiday card shop.
I do like the Happy New Year card idea though. They do that in France and you basically have all of January, when there is nothing to do anyway :)

This won't be the first time I've done New Year's cards -- I never intend to, but it just sometimes works out that way!
