Here's the sort of thing Andy just casually mentions in passing, and I can never figure out how he always knows these things:
Brad Dourif played Billy Bibbit in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Wormtongue" in "The Lord of the Rings" and Doc Cochran in "Deadwood"! Those were all the same guy? Yup.
My geeky butt remembered him for his role in "Dune" as Piter De Vries. And his appearances in Star Trek.

He's also the guy who murmurs, "You are a beautiful, beautiful butterfly" right before the alien baby-thing eats his head in "Alien Resurrection."

Yes, yes indeedy - Piter de Vries in Dune. "It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of sapho my thoughts acquire speed, my lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion."
Dourif's Wormtongue character in Lord of the Rings just plain looked creepy. He shaved his eyebrows off for the role...there is something nasty about a dude with no eyebrows...
...but I still remember seeing him that first time in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. A masterful performance.

Confession: I'd have known that too - I think because he has both a memorable face and name.
I can't believe he's 56 already, I still have a mental image of him in his role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

I always think of him as the guy from Ragtime, listed only as "younger brother".

He's one of three guys I always notice in movies...the other two are Michael Jeter who is dead and Steve Buscemi who has sort of come into his own.

You mention this, and, like, the very next day I see this actor in "Mississippi Burning," playing the racist sheriff's deputy, and remember that he's the guy from "Cuckoo's Nest" whom you just mentioned. Coincidence, or proof that my brainwaves are controlled by aliens?
