This just in:
Previously defunct British pop-rockers Squeeze have announced that they will reunite for a handful of UK shows come the end of this year, according to a statement posted on co-founder Glenn Tilbrook's home page. The band, who formally called it quits in 1999, haven't released a proper LP since 1998's Domino, but are planning to put out their latest greatest hits comp, The Essential Squeeze on April 30. The shows will coincide with Universal and Warner's reissue project of Squeeze's entire back catalogue.
Yee-ha! And, my darling Squeeze fans, please please please promise me that you'll (1) rent the DVD "Glen Tilbrook: One for the Road" if you haven't already, and (2) refrain from purchasing Chris Difford's CD "South East Side Story" if you haven't already. Trust me, on both counts.

A more lively group is the Glenn Tilbrook list because he tours so much solo. It is at:

That's better news than The Police touring, and the tickets should be less than my mortgage payment for Squeeze.
