Can I be friends with you guys too? I love the writing on appliances thing...although the 20 minutes to remove the writing is a little obsessive...I would have left it there.

Miranda, I'm *SO* happy to see you use a gas stove. As a cook, I think they are great. As a potential suicide, I think they are irreplaceable.
Anyway, please contact Powell's books in Portland, Ore. You *must* move that signing to a 'big' (not chain) bookstore.
Your writing is amazing. You are a phenomenom. I apologize for the errrr....'edgy' joke.
