We finally got mail from Steph today! I can officially report to you that "Camp rocks!" She sounds very happy and upbeat. She's having "SO much fun" and her "conslers" are nice. She sees her cousins frequently (Brian just happens to be her waiter and Jen is the counselor two cabins away).
What a relief. I realize that there's plenty of time for homesickness to set in or for something to go wrong, but I'm just thrilled that she's off to a good start.
"Hello muddah, hello faddah..."

It's a good feeling as a parent that your kids can "make it" out there happily. Son #1 went to Webelos camp two summers ago and didn't have exactly the best time, but his memories are now starting to leave out the bad stuff. I'm glad he did it, either way.
Steph's camp is probably a lot more fun than Marty's was.
