It has been several years since I've used my scanner. I can't exactly recall what the problem was, but I got so frustrated that I unplugged it in a fit of pique and pretended I'd never bought it. Today it occurred to me to try it out again with my MacBook Pro instead of my iMac, and voilà! It works.
Who cares, you say? Well, I have a photo that Brooke has been nagging me to upload for a few years, but it didn't exist digitally until today. So now, without further ado, I present you with the best photo ever of Mr. Jones and Gracie:

Which reminds me of a photo that Jerry took of me and Andy up in NH last winter, but I had only a print. Until now!
In a classic case of role reversal, Andy is reading and I'm napping. Must be that mountain air.
