I've wondered for years why this hasn't been done. It doesn't matter whether we burn dirty, clean, used, dangerous or whatever fuels, we're still stupidly BURNING stuff, which is what we need to avoid.

I've thought ahead on this solar business, though: CSP may prove to be the answer to burning our fuels, but theoretically, it also would shift weather patterns the same as fossil fuel use does if suddenly we were redirecting heat that heretofore had sunk into the sand. Could there be a danger of global cooling?

Still, other than that caveat, it sounds perfect. So why HASN'T it been done yet? God, the whole state of Nevada could be one big solar collector...
