I must have forgotten to mention Pete's first soccer game last Saturday. Hmm, let's see if I can recall . . . oh yeah, we lost 12-0! Sheesh. And then at this week's practice, the scrimmage ended at 0-0. At that point Andy revised his goals and expectations for the team to: Score at practice.
Today we woke up to pouring rain, so Julie's first kindergarten soccer game of the season was cancelled, which was a big disappointment for her. Pete had his game, though, and this time we won 6-0, including 2 goals scored by Pete himself! I guess we have a team of mudders.*
*Who will be first to post in the Comments what this refers to?
I "think" a mudder refers to a race horse that performs better on a muddy track.

You're right, it does, but where did I first hear it? That's the question!

Yep! Kramer hears a tip on a racehorse, ""He's a mudder. His mother was a mudder. His father was a mudder." :-)
