Via This Is Not a Blog, here's a photo of all the leaders of the Free World, taken at last week's APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Community) summit in Sydney. Can you find our own W? Hint: Look all the way to the right, but think left. What's everyone else doing except for our boy?
D'oh!
LOL I saw Bill Maher show this photo on Friday night on "Real Time" on HBO. Obviously the photographer called to all the politicos to wave their left hands! At the APEC conference W said in his speech that he was glad to be at the OPEC conference, and referred to his hosts the Australians as Austrians!

Maybe Dubya thought that in the opposite hemisphere, right means left. Always doin' us Uh-mur-kins proud...
If we won't impeach him, can we at least divorce him?

While reading a book by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer I came upon this quote from Hermann Goering, who said, "Why, of course, the people don't want war...But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship ... voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."
Probably not the context that Dr. Dyer had in mind but still...
