verbatim: More of the Same

As of yesterday afternoon, I had planned to keep Steph home from school today (she threw up again in the late afternoon) and send the other two. Then, just before bed, Pete got bad stomach pains again and kept thinking he was going to throw up, although he never did. So I decided not to send him. This morning, just as I was packing Julie's lunchbox, she said she had a tummy ache. That's it, they're all staying home. Andy's here too, and although he's positively useless when he's sick, I will leave the kids with him for an hour this morning so I can run out to the market and possibly go see Gram at the hospice—I just worry that I might be carrying around germs even if I haven't succumbed to any of them.
