Congratulations!

TwoBusy

VERY cool. Congrats!

Liz

whooppee. Once you're in, can you tell someone that it would be really nice if they could print the recipes in a large enough font that I don't have to put my 1.5 cheaters on and off every night to cook dinner?? Thanks, L.

Elena

Congrats! I admire you for having a goal like that and sticking with it. You're an inspiration!

How cool!!! Coincidentally, I got an invitation to apply to do a mom blog for the Raleigh newspaper. I sent a query from an ad and apparently I made the first cut. Now I have to submit 4 posts for their consideration. And my BF Amy re-read TONS of my posts and picked out six to choose from.

It's unpaid, but I'm thinking exposure here.

Margaret

That is such exciting news! I am curious--how does one edit a cookbook?

nina

Yay! Hooray! Congratulations! Felicidades! I am so happy for you. Right on for asking for what you want, and doing lots of hard work to get it. Brava, my friend.

Carolyn

Congratulations! I keep hearing that patience is a necessary virtue in the publishing world--it's great to see it rewarded (along with talent, of course). And just think of all the great recipes you'll be able to try out in your "off" hours!

Congrats!

Mark

Excellent!

My grammar and spelling skills are horrible, but if they need someone to "proofread" the food, I'm your man.

jo

Congratulations - That sounds like a great job!

Kathleen

What great news! I would feel very confident using a cookbook edited by you. I am curious, too, how you edit a cookbook.
