1. After you unscrew a dead light bulb, do you shake it to listen for the tinkling of the broken filament? I tried not to the other night, but I couldn't resist in the end.
2. When you look in the mirror to do something to your eye, do you make that horrible grouper-mouth? I do—every time I put in my contacts. What is that?
3. Do you ever re-push an already-lit elevator button, as if that could possibly make it come faster? I don't, but I see people do this all the time.
Guilty!

Aw, Karen, you caught me. And #3 happens to be my favorite Sniglet - remember those? That was called "elevacceleration." :-)

I ALWAYS do #1!! Here's another one (also a sniglet!) Carperpetuation: The act, when vacuuming, of running over a string or a piece of lint at least a dozen times, reaching over and picking it up, examining it, then putting it back down to give the vacuum one more chance.

I usually do #1, though my sons have a blown light bulb in their ceiling fan and so far all I have done is tapped it to see the filiment moving about. I've caught myself making that face when putting on eye liner but can keep myself from doing it if I concentrate on it. I don't press elevator buttons if they're already lit. Never saw the need.

Debbie, THAT was always my favorite Sniglet of all! And yes, I do that one too.

I've been known to do every single one of them. How sad is that?
