1. Travel is high up on my bucket list. (In truth, I don't even have a bucket list, so I had trouble coming up with anything for this one. I just hope I live long enough to see my kids become happy adults.)

3. Karine inspired me to start blogging.
4. Strawberries are best in someone else's dish. (Sorry, just not my favorite flavor or texture!)
5. Andy was smoking menthol cigarettes in the last dream I remember having. Peh.
6. The most enjoyable time to go for a walk is on a warm, breezy day at the beach.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to getting some more work done, tomorrow my plans include a long-overdue appointment for a haircut and color, and Sunday I want to watch Pete's final Little League game.

Ah, Karine, she was something special wasn't she? I "met" her through your blog and think of her fairly regularly.

I still think of her all the time, and every now and then I'll come across a photo or postcard she sent and memories of her wit and vivacity come flooding back.
