We're back home, and Steph is already out again, at Fenway with her grandparents. Gorgeous night for a game.
I just closed out the month of August for Andy's companies, and I'm still feeling very much in over my head with this bookkeeping stuff. Sigh.
I can't wait to dig in tomorrow on the cookbook manuscript that finally came back from the author. Then I have to get to work on that French project that came in before the long weekend too....
School starts on Thursday; last night I dreamed that I missed the bus to middle school on the first day.
Does anything help mosquito bites more than After Bite or hydrocortisone cream? The kids and I are dying of itch here. (Andy seems to be immune.) Those New Hampshire mosquitoes really mean business.
I promise to do a post tomorrow on all the exciting news coming from the John McCain camp these days. Yow. If you're not following anyone on Twitter these days, you're missing a laugh a minute.
Benadryl cream is excellent on bug bites. If you don't have any on hand but do have benadryl tablets, you can crush them (rinse off the pink otherwise you'll dye yourself!) and mix the powder into some lotion--nothing fancy required, I've used Jergens, Eucerin, etc. One tablet is good for about one arm (adult-size, that is). It's worth a try!

I can't speak to any of these except the hot water shower - which helps for a little while. http://tipnut.com/over-40-mosquito-bite-itch-relief-tips/
