I've talked a lot about the closet racists, and how I worry that their numbers could be throwing the polls off. (Although 538 has Obama so very far ahead, that almost everyone would have to be a closet racist for it to matter too much.) But another group I fear even more is the polling-place fraudsters. What have they got up their sleeves for November 4? NYU Professor Mark Crispin Miller talks about some of the scary possibilities. Could they steal it again? They sure could, and we all have to do everything in our power to make sure they don't get away with it.
(In other news, here's something I didn't expect: The Anchorage Daily News endorses Obama.)
I'm hoping my vote counts! I sent in a mail-in ballot, as does my whole family. I was shocked by the Alaska endorsement also.

I keep telling myself that Obama has been so smart about everything so far that I think he must have a plan to deal with any polling place shenanigans.
