1. My latest article is up over at Foodie Mama. Mmm, steak.
2. I think this hilarious video was made just for my pleasure—in it, a rookie cop must defuse a bomb without using any figurative language.
3. Check out this slideshow of candid photos of the Obama family from election night. I got chills and teary eyes all over again.
4. While you're feeling misty, read Frank Rich's wonderful op-ed in today's Times.
5. This video comes to you from the Onion: "Obama Win Causes Obsessive Supporters to Realize How Empty Their Lives Are."
6. Here's another reason Texas scares me (except Austin).
7. And from Colorado, here's a political race I can really sink my teeth into.
Belated "that you!" for all the excellent election links ...and for articulating so much of my own pre-election anxiety and post-election elation!

When yousay steak, you are speaking my fondest food language. We albolutely love it and I can have a whole meal on on y it adn pinot noir.
I use the DFP system (double fork piercing,) to prepare mine. Both hands stabbing with lightning speed cause usually SUVs take up four of our school's narrow spots.
The bomb video was kind of funny ya. And I saw another one on the page I liked even better.
