Here's another fun Twitter thing I found today: historical tweets. A few of my favorites:
- Abe Lincoln asks his Twitter followers for help on a speech he's writing.
- Bill Gates tweets his pal Steve Jobs in 1978 about an interesting idea.
- Clyde tweets Bonnie about their future.
Very clever stuff, regardless of whether you're on Twitter. Really!
Meanwhile, it turns out there are many hundreds more fun, fake Twitter accounts than the ones I mentioned yesterday, f'rinstance: fake Bill Gates, fake Abe Vigoda (each of his tweets ends with "I'm alive!"), Darth Vader, and Aragorn (each of his tweets ends with "Still not King").
