...I gave birth to a little guy who would grow up to request take-out from Blue Ribbon BBQ for his birthday dinner! Makes his mama proud. Especially when decked out in his Nerf assault vest, goggles, and weaponry:
(He had a baseball scrimmage today, hence the socks.)
Happy Birthday, Pete!
He's going to get married and you're going to bring out this picture and he's going to die.

I hope he knows he was born on the anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco quake. Shake 'em up, Pete!

Does Pete know you posted this pic on your blog? :) Too cute. I have very similar pics of my son (9) that I am threatening him with as well. Happy B-day!

Yes, I said, "Put on all your gear so I can take a photo for my blog." He thinks he looks way cool! And, for the record, I have WAY more embarrassing photos of him than this! :-)

Growing up is for squares.

You don't think Andy's wearing his right now?? I'll never see either of them again - they're outside having a huge battle.

I love having a ten year old boy. It's such a great age and we're having so much fun.

Glad you explained those wacky socks, because otherwise he looks so normal! ;)
