Remember last winter when my lips were so dry I was ready to kill myself? (No?) Well, someone recommended Aquaphor, which has been my go-to lip salve ever since. I have given up all stick-style lip balms, which I secretly think have some mysterious ingredient that makes you need to keep applying more and more. Even Burt's Bees, yes.
So when Mom Central offered me a chance to try out Neosporin's new daytime and nighttime lip remedies, I jumped at the chance. Neosporin is a name I know and have trusted for many years. I stick Julie's earring posts in the tube, I put a blob on all bandaids, etc. Anyhow, the Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy comes in a little tube with an angled top so you can spread it right on your lips (unlike Aquaphor, which comes in a regular tube, so you have to squeeze it onto your finger and then spread it on). It's a little thicker and creamier than Aquaphor, and it feels nice going on. It did a great job, and I like that it has SPF 20 protection from the sun.
The Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy comes in a little jar, and it is thick and white like hand cream. It felt awesome going on at night, and my lips (which have been suffering ever since my humidifier went kaput) were noticeably smoother and more hydrated in the morning. Remarkable!
You can go to the Neosporin site to check out their 3-Day Challenge for lips and even get some coupons. I recommend this stuff whole-heartedly, and this is coming from someone who has tried every lip product on the market!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Neosporin and received a sample of the Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy and the Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy to facilitate my review and a $20 thank-you gift certificate.
My lips are literally the worst. It is gross and painful and gross. I will try just about anything at this point, even though the coupons don't mail to Canada.

I'm wondering about the Burt's Bees stuff, too. So, this new Neosporin stuff does not have Neosporin in it, does it?? Is it available in stores yet?
