*Remember when I was talking about taking off Saturdays from blogging? Maybe I could do this instead. Those of you who aren't on Twitter haven't heard any of this stuff, and even those who are might have missed some of it. Whattaya think?
1. I've been enjoying Letters of Note, a blog that collects interesting letters from famous people. Here are some of my favorites:
- A letter to a fan from a young David Bowie.
- A letter from an irate Mark Twain to a snake oil salesman.
- A total asshole letter from Harvey Weinstein to Errol Morris. (P.S. Meanwhile, did you hear that Miramax is no more?)
2. I've complained often enough that as soon as I fall in love with a product at Trader Joe's, it gets discontinued. Remember when they stopped offering Nutty American Trail Mix (almonds, cashews, raisins, and chocolate chunks)? Well, imagine my surprise to find that it's back! And, miracle of miracles, the gel cups too (so far only the peach-mango, but I'm keeping an eye out for the black cherry).
3. My favorite tongue twister is "Irish wristwatch." Can you say it three times? I also get a chuckle every time I catch a glimpse of the delivery truck from Ipswich Shellfish on the highway. Can you imagine being the receptionist there and having to say it every time you answered the phone?
4. I was told that I missed John Prine on Elvis Costello's "Spectacle" show on Sundance a few weeks ago. Anyone know where I can watch it on the web?
5. Here are a few reasons why I spend very little time on Facebook.
Hilarious take on FB--although I use it, I can certainly see the humor and truth in the sarcasm. However, I do enjoy keeping updated on people, even though I don't play the games or do many of the quizzes. With no text plan and due to my job, I could never do Twitter. That's OK, since I have little interest in being that connected.

You and I must be on Twitter at almost completely different times because I think I missed all of these! Good idea!
